I remember meeting Cara when she 1st moved to Daventry with her mum, stepdad and brothers around age 9. We struck up a really good friendship & would spend weekends and school holidays together. I have fond memories of our time together; giving one another backies on her bike, going from her house to mine and back again. We spent lots of our school holiday days at the local swimming pool, cramming snacks and drinks in our lockers to enjoy between swimming, or practising dance routines in her bedroom. I’ll never forget her love for her halter neck leopard print “spice girl” dress she used to wear to the weekly youth club, where she hoped we could demonstrate our dance routines or she could do some karaoke.
We kept in contact throughout the years and although we never saw each other regularly, whenever we spoke nothing had really changed.
I’m deeply saddened by her passing, a life taken far too young. Sending love and strength to her family at this difficult time, and thinking of her 2 beautiful daughters.
Fly high Cara
